What has built up, and what lies under it
Industrial Cleaning Services cleans production areas, equipment and building surfaces in commercial and industrial premises, working nationwide. The right method depends on what has accumulated, the surface beneath it and how the area is used. The aim is to remove the contamination without causing avoidable problems for the equipment or for the operation going on around it.
Routine cleaning or preparation for inspection
A maintenance clean and a clean ahead of inspection can involve the same equipment, yet each requires a different result. Before an inspection, the surfaces required for that task have to be exposed, including areas that are harder to reach. We look at how the equipment runs, what has collected on it and how the affected area can be reached safely.
Trialling an area first
When the condition of a surface or deposit is uncertain, a closer inspection or a trial may be needed before the wider treatment is chosen. A trial can show where staining or surface change will remain once the removable contamination has gone.
Isolation, stored energy and atmosphere
Our work has to fit the site’s own controls for access and equipment isolation. A machine that has stopped can still hold stored energy, and a chamber that looks empty can still present an atmospheric hazard. Preparation deals with those risks before cleaning starts, with suitable emergency arrangements for any confined-space entry that is necessary.
Reporting at completion
When the cleaning is done, we report the areas treated, any access limitations and visible defects that need separate attention. The required finish and completion checks are applied to the agreed work.
