Concrete floor cleaning lifts loose dirt and oily deposits from warehouse slabs, working areas and industrial floors. We choose the treatment around the concrete finish and what the floor will be used for afterwards. A floor being returned to traffic needs a different finish from one about to receive a coating.
Concrete Floor Cleaning
Concrete floor cleaning for industrial slabs and warehouses, with attention to oil penetration, existing sealers and the floor’s next use.

Porous and sealed concrete
Untreated concrete can hold oil below the surface.
Washwater recovery
Loose debris and dirty liquid are collected as the floor is cleaned.
Porous and sealed concrete
Untreated concrete can hold oil below the surface. A sealer changes how cleaning liquid and mechanical scrubbing act on it, so we inspect and trial the method first. Weak surface material can break away under aggressive cleaning. Aggressive cleaning can expose more weak concrete without correcting the underlying damage.

Containment and traffic control
We remove loose debris before treating adhered contamination and recover the dirty liquid as work proceeds. Joints and machine bases need particular care because they trap residue. Nearby equipment and stock are protected from spray, with wet sections separated from normal traffic until they are ready for use.
Cleaning limits before coating or reuse
We explain any staining that remains and distinguish it from removable contamination. If a coating follows, its manufacturer may require moisture testing, a defined surface profile or further preparation. General cleaning should not be accepted as proof that every coating requirement has been met.
Where the floor is returning to normal use, the completion check focuses on removed contamination, remaining staining and whether the area is ready to reopen to traffic.
Concrete Floor Cleaning: common questions
Can oil stains remain on clean concrete?
Yes. Oil absorbed into porous concrete can leave staining after cleaning.
Does concrete cleaning include grinding?
Grinding is separate surface preparation and needs an agreed specification.
Is a washed floor immediately ready to coat?
A coating may require further preparation and moisture checks after washing.
Can cleaning damage a weak slab?
An unsuitable method can disturb weak concrete, which is why the surface is assessed first.
Will dirty water be collected?
We plan recovery and an appropriate route for the contaminated liquid.
