Controlling spray and drainage
We separate the washing area from pedestrians and vehicle movements. Electrical equipment and stored products are protected from spray. Drain destinations are checked before work, with contaminated liquid contained and recovered through an appropriate route. Any discharge of trade effluent to the foul sewer needs the relevant water-company agreement.
Staining, wear and further preparation
We inspect for remaining deposits and distinguish them from staining or surface wear. General pressure washing does not establish that a surface is ready for repainting or hygienic production. Those uses may require further preparation or verification, which should be agreed before accepting the cleaned area.
Yards and external working areas can contain more than one drainage system. Washwater collection is established before washing begins, and temporary containment needs to remain effective throughout the job. Disposal or discharge then reflects the actual contamination and any cleaning product used.
