Wrapped pallets and exposed products need different precautions. Overhead work is completed ahead of floor cleaning so debris does not fall onto finished aisles or newly uncovered goods.

Aisle access and vehicle movements
Aisle closures are agreed with the warehouse team, including forklift movements and access to fire exits. High-level equipment must fit the available reach and floor loading. Racking is not used as an access platform. Conveyors or automated handling equipment need their own isolation where cleaning reaches hazardous parts.
Cleaned areas and racking condition
We check the cleaned bays and identify areas still blocked by stock. Any visible racking damage is brought to the site team’s attention. A cleaning visit does not replace a competent racking inspection, but it can make defects easier to see and help improve the next cleaning schedule.
Where stock prevents safe access to an overhead section, that section is left until the affected aisle or bay becomes available.
