Factory Deep Cleaning

Factory deep cleaning for machinery surrounds, overhead deposits and floors, planned around maintenance access and production downtime.

Factory Deep Cleaning enquiry

We deep clean factory areas that routine cleaning cannot reach, including machinery surrounds, high ledges and floors beneath production equipment. The work can take place during a shutdown or in a separate working zone, depending on the access and isolation required.

Deposits beyond routine factory cleaning

Built-up dust, grease and process residue are removed from machinery surrounds, overhead areas and floors beyond routine reach.

Maintenance access

Isolation and guard removal are agreed with the maintenance team before hazardous areas are reached.

Deposits beyond routine factory cleaning

Machine-tool oil and powder on overhead steelwork call for different methods. We recover loose dust before it spreads, check that degreasers suit the surface finish and follow the site hygiene procedure for any food-contact areas. Overhead work is completed before lower surfaces so falling debris does not settle on a finished floor.

Cleaning tools and recovered material must not carry contamination into neighbouring production areas. An engineering bay beside a packing room, for example, may need separation while residues are removed.

Safe access during maintenance work

Before cleaning starts, equipment isolation, access and any guard removal are coordinated with the maintenance team. Stored pneumatic or hydraulic energy still needs to be controlled after the production line has stopped. Nearby operations also need protection from spray and falling material.

The schedule allows for inspection and refitting before restart. Once deposits have been removed, leaking seals or damaged floor joints may become easier to see. We report those findings and check the treated areas against the agreed cleaning standard. Machinery returns to service through the site’s authorised restart procedure.

Factory Deep Cleaning: common questions

How is a deep clean different from routine cleaning?

A deep clean reaches deposits and areas beyond everyday access, with the necessary isolation and preparation.

Does the clean include dismantling machinery?

Dismantling is included only when agreed, with maintenance controlling removal and reinstatement.

Can some production continue?

Some lines may remain in use when the cleaning zone can be separated safely.

Should floors be cleaned before overhead areas?

Usually overhead work comes first, so falling material does not contaminate a finished floor.

Does the clean include repairs?

We identify visible defects and discuss them before any repair work is added.
